Last month, multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Imagine Dragons played a secret show in Las Vegas as part of the Crackle original concert series, “Playing It Forward.”

The November 8 show in front of the Bellagio Resort & Casino on the the Strip showcased the band performing three fan favorites: the newly released single “I Bet My Life” from their upcoming second album; the 9x platinum single “Radioactive”; and the 2x platinum breakthrough single “It’s Time.” The video also shows some behind-the-scenes footage of the band.

Crackle’s original music series, “Playing It Forward,” is a special documentary-style music series produced by Team Downey, an entertainment company founded by actor Robert Downey Jr. and his producer wife Susan Downey, as well as veteran music producer/composer Tony Berg and Kevin Lake. The first episode in the series starred John Legend.

It’s purpose is to change lives by supporting organizations dedicated to preserving music education. Crackle will donate $100,000 per episode to the charity of the artists’ choice. This episode of “Playing It Forward” featuring Imagine Dragons will benefit music education programs in four Las Vegas schools including: Bonanza High School (Dan Reynolds Alma mater), Valley High School, Sunrise High School and Bailey Middle School.

I love this idea. My life was changed so much in school because I had access to music instruction. I would love to see how the next generation is inspired by having that same access.

Additional unexpected performances from “Playing it Forward” will be announced at a later date. To find out about upcoming shows, follow Crackle on Facebook and Twitter using hashtag #PIF.
