Marvel Releases Second TV Spot for Avengers: Age of Ultron and It’s About the Characters

Yesterday Marvel released a second TV spot for the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it features plenty of new clips.

Avengers: Age of Ultron - Avengers Tower

I’m calling this one the “Get everybody excited by showing them individual character intros” trailer.

It starts out with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) explaining his “little” contributions to the Avengers team. And by little, I mean he’s snidely bragging. Seems there’s a little tension already brewing between Stark and Steve Rogers aka Captain America.

Wonder how that’ll play out? LOL

A few montages of scenes from the film, some more Ultron, and then Fury states, “Show ’em what we got.”

At this point, the trailer shows each of the Avengers individually, with character title cards, a few short key scene clips, and the character spouting witty dialogue…except for Hulk, who gets in several grunts and growls.

Oh, like you’re going to tell him he only gets one line in this trailer??

It’s a visual roll call: Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye. Even Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver get featured (what’s with that accent Quicksilver?).

“All right, it’s time for fun,” Ultron says menacingly as the Avengers ready to battle the hordes.

The clip closes with some great battle scenes.

Whew! It’s an exciting 62 seconds from start to finish.

Here’s the new trailer for you to check out for yourself. I’m putting the UK version on this post instead of the US version because the US one has some glitches at the beginning. They’re exactly the same content-wise.

Let me know what you think of the trailer in comments!

Avengers: Age of Ultron is in thaters in the US on May 1, 2015.

The Disney/Marvel marketing machine is working to perfection! I already had every intention of seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron as soon as possible after its release. The steady release of more and more trailers and previews and behind the scenes releases have done nothing but get me more and more excited for this movie.
