AMC Theatres Hosts AMC Cares Summer Throwbacks Movie Fest for Charity

AMC Theatres is hosting a summer movie promotion all summer long bringing back recent films with proceeds going to charity.

AMC Cares Summer Throwbacks Movie Promotion

AMC Cares Summer Throwbacks Movie Fest offers one movie a week, priced at $4.99 a ticket, and 100% of tickets sales will go to the charities AMC Cares and the Will Rogers Institute.

The movies play at noon and 10pm Monday through Thursday, and at noon only on Friday through Sunday.

Movies included in the promotion include:

  • June 19 – 25 … The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1
  • June 26 – July 2 … The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
  • July 3 – 9 … Fifty Shades of Grey
  • July 17 – 23 … Get Hard
  • July 24 – 30 … Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
  • July 31 – Aug 2 … Paul Blart Mall Cop 2
  • Aug 7 – 13 … Furious 7

An interesting mix of films, and I like that they’re showing the last Mission Impossible the week before the new one, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation hits theaters on July 31.

Hmmm… think I may have to see Hunger Games, Spongebob, and maybe Furious 7 again. Maybe even do the 10pm Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol then see a midnight show of MI: Rogue Nation. How about you? What films are you interested in seeing on the big screen again?
