The Night Janitor by T. F. Allen

In The Night Janitor by T. F. Allen, Luke has a gift of healing, one which he uses as he moves from place to place, working in hospitals and nursing homes as a janitor.

He’s on the run from his sister Annamaria, who also has a gift, but her touch is deadly. She is hunting Luke, along with their father, for abandoning her when her power grew.

Now Luke will discover no matter how fast he runs, he will eventually have to stop and take a stand against his sister.

I really enjoyed this novel. It was a well put-together thriller with strong characters. The supernatural element helped keep the tension tight from start to finish, and the story played well against the traditional good vs. evil plot.

I wasn’t sold on the need for a romantic aspect between Luke and a nurse he convinces to help him, and that’s a major reason I can’t give this book a perfect review.

The Night Janitor still gets a 4 out of 5 stars from me. If you enjoy a good thriller with supernatural elements, give this book a try.

NOTE: This book came out in 2019, but I didn’t get a chance to review it right away. My apologies to the publisher.
